I’m Lorna Adams
I enjoy modern dance, thai food, lazy weekends and magic realism
A little bit of what I do
I’ve spent nearly all of my working career at IFF after joining on the graduate trainee programme back in 1997. I specialise in public policy research across the fields of education, skills, welfare and business practices.
What I’ve achieved
Just about balancing a career and 4 small children about 75% of the time. A long history of work for Government Departments such as the DWP, BIS and HMRC and providing good quality robust research that has helped inform some interesting policy debates. Designing and delivering some complex technical projects that have often used mixed methodologies and nearly always needed a healthy dose of pragmatism.
