In 1965, Lord McIntosh of Haringey founded “Industrial Facts and Forecasting”, the country’s first specialist business-to-business research agency.
Fast forward 60 years, IFF Research has grown into one of the country’s largest independent social research agencies, employing over 150 people working across 10 distinct sectors, and entrusted to deliver the UK’s largest social surveys, across business and public audiences.
A chance to look back, and look ahead
We’ve spent six decades making a difference to society, by helping government, businesses and third sector organisations make better-informed decisions.
Over this time, we’ve developed a collaborative approach to research, driven by a desire to make a difference. And, as the workplace has evolved, we’ve adapted the way in which we work; including creating our unique “human-first” culture – a reflection of how we work with our clients and partners, and how we support our people to thrive.
Our anniversary is an important moment for us. It’s an opportunity to celebrate our history and heritage, and the achievements that have defined IFF. It’s also a chance to look towards the future – to think about where the next 60 years might take us.
